No Virginia Woolf's book is easy reading . She was devoted to experiment with his writing and broke with the classical structure of the novel.
In waves, use interior monologue, with the addition of six characters from different stages of his life.
Each chapter is preceded by a description of the beach, seen at different times of day. Dawn, noon, afternoon and evening. Every moment is equivalent to stages of the lives of his characters.
Through its inner dialogues look at the relation that unites them, the feelings, perceptions of one another. In some passages, these thoughts are intertwined in "mental dialogue" because in reality there is no dialogue in the book, only ideas narrated in a highly poetic.

"On the Soul is a soft and shiny pearly shell, against which the feelings pecking in vain" ; think Bernard, when the sun has sunk at sea and reflecting in the twilight of his life.

As in other books on Woolf, the obsession with death and suicide is present.
Louis, Neville, Jinny, Susan, Rhoda and Bernard, will be marked with the early death of Percival and Rhoda, suicide found in the exhaust he craved.

Black Swan Great Expectations


Swan Lake Pyotr Tchaicovski of must be one of the most famous classical dance world.

Black Swan (Black Swan, 2010), is a daring film and a little macabre. Whoever thinks
enjoy a film where the grace and beauty of ballet is the essence of it, be disappointed.
Ballet serves as a base only to tell the story of Nina (Natalie Portman), a dancer for a company that looks over the years without getting hit his jump to fame.
Nina's life, a young man dedicated to his profession, is sacrificed, lives, breathes, eats and dreams ballet. A girl-woman, living with a controlling mother, who projecting his shattered dreams.
The forced resignation of the star (Winona Ryder), will give you the opportunity to audition for dancer to Thomas (Vincent Cassel), the director of the company.

long time ago telling me I had to read the Charles Dickens classic , Great Expectations (Great Expectations). The idea was a little "depressed" made me delay it long enough. To be of Dickens, I was not as sad as I was told my prejudices.

The novel tells the story of little Phillip Pirrip, better known as Pip, from childhood to maturity. As in other books of Dickens, mixing elements of autobiography with fiction.
The orphan Pip is raised by his sister and her husband. The sister, boasts of raising him by hand and is an extremely cruel, an abuser, hitting the child and her husband, Joe.
Joe, is a humble blacksmith, a person full of good feelings, the voice of Pip's conscience, his adviser and friend.
Two events marked the life of Pip at a young age.
The first, a chance encounter with a convict who just escaped from the prison ship and will be connected to their future in unexpected ways.
The second, being forced to visit the eccentric and ghostly Miss Havisham. The rich old lady, lives obsessed by the love of his youth who left before the altar and wish that all men suffer. The young Pip will have his first meeting with Estella, who became his great love, a girl a bit older than him, adopted by Miss Havisham, and who indoctrinated to be his revenge on the world. Pip
grow and will become a reality his "great hopes" which does not imply that no mistakes and make bad decisions.

My favorite character, however, was Pip and Estella (could not stand his attitude too), but the faithful Joe.
