wanted to share with you @ s experience of a wedding in Tbilisi (Georgia-Caucasus) to which they invited my husband two weeks ago. It is a curious experience is counted for him.

At that point, the wedding is in two parts. A first phase, the religious wedding, a wedding typical Georgian Orthodox and also where the bride and groom can be dressed in various ways. The bride can buy or rent the suit, but must be white. Most gifts in a family like we were, both of humble, are objects and gold outfit for the bride.
Then when you get to the banquet room, tables are already full of dishes, which will be replacing all night and bottle of wine. The musicians ready their instruments after a few minutes when it is assumed that all guests have arrived, calling attention and names the "Tamada," a great honor, the master of ceremonies will be the custodian of the official toast, both for them to pass your turn. In this case it was an uncle of the bride.
People have started eating and is not expected to do the bride and groom make their appearance only after the third toast. As the horns were never good, foreigners we had to make several toasts with horns. No ill have to think, it is used horns as cups and, after appropriate toast, you have to drink until the end because it has no base to stand on. It was terrible after a few glasses of wine, having drunk some of these horns. We were really hurt. 
The wedding ends when all the guests are gone and now the couple are the last to leave the premises. It was time to say goodbye but it was a difficult task because everybody loves hugging, kissing, giving you another drink, well, we did not go, we had to escape.
