A comment Dabart of got me thinking, in particular the second question I do:
"tell us the truth, you really like milano ?
will answer that question a small list of what it means to live in the economic capital of Italy.
- If you like to have a high quality air, Milan is not for you. If
- to feel in the big city, you need that most shops and businesses opened late, Milan is not for you.
- If it bothers you infernal traffic through narrow streets, Milan is not for you.
- If you think a great city can not be crossed from north to south or east to west in just over an hour using surface transport (buses, trams), Milan is not as big as you think.
- If you like free admission museums, Milan, indeed, Italy is not for you.
- If you think the denizens of large cities are pretentious and arrogant, and argue that their cities are the best, wait till you come to Milan to know what is good.
- If you like places where bus schedules are so you know how late are coming, welcome to Milan!.
- If you like places that are cold in winter (well, not so much) and horribly hot in summer, Milan is home!.
- If you like the places where most residents are not natives of the city, Milan is for you;).
This and more makes Milan a perfect city, with waaaay parks and green (hopefully notice the irony), where Frisian public offices are famous for their kindness. A city where eating is not so expensive and getting far away is extremely easy. For these reasons and more Milan is an ideal city to live.
Seriously, Milan does not bother me mostly, being in Caracas, I think I'm better prepared to endure the same Milanese, but to be honest, if I have to go somewhere else, do not think twice. Milan
, humor , Italy
